Canada Post Rotating Strike Contingency Plan

Canada Post has ended its country-wide strike; however, rotating strikes are now occurring in select cities and regions across Canada. These localized disruptions may cause delays in mail delivery depending on where you live.

To support our applicants, operators, and stakeholders, OWWCO will continue to implement the following contingency measures to minimize any disruption:

  • Certificate and License Renewal Notices – Renewal notices will continue to be sent via email.
  • Exam Registration and Results – Exam registration confirmations and exam results will continue to be sent via email.
  • Certification and License Issuance – Certificates and licenses will continue to be issued, but mail delivery may be delayed in regions affected by rotating strikes. Operators can verify their certification or license status via the WWOCS system (for registered users) or the daily-updated Operator Listing Report on our website.
  • Course Assessment and Facility Classification – Course assessment results and facility classifications will continue to be sent by email.
  • Bookstore Orders – During the rotating strike period, bookstore orders will be delivered by courier to ensure minimal disruption.
Communication and Updates

Please check your email for communications from OWWCO. Communications will be sent to the most recent email address provided on your latest application. Updates and further details will also be available on our website throughout the strike.
